Bigger Isn't Always Better

BIGGER ISN'T ALWAYS BETTER, perhaps according to Christopher Columbus amongst others over the years.

The Taunton River is one of three major rivers that flow into Narragansett Bay, the others being the Blackstone River and the Pawtuxet Rivers.  Numerous smaller rivers also flow into Narragansett Bay.

In June of 2017, I made way up the Taunton River for the first time in my Albin Vega, travelling a few miles upriver from Battleship Cove.

"We're NOT gonna need a bigger boat."  I highly doubt Christopher Columbus said that, and yet the "Nina", the smallest of the three ships Columbus sailed to the new world with in 1492, was his favorite.

Yup, Sailing Hither and Thither through space and time on Narragansett Bay during the month of June, 2017.
