Dingies-Eye-View January 22, 2017

IT WAS A SWEET MORNING IN JANUARY for a row across the harbor.  Little wind and warmer than normal temperatures for this season made for most pleasant conditions on the water.

Looking south-west, a number of mooring winter sticks dot the surface of the harbor.  The southern tip of Goat Island protrudes from the right.  The Eisenhower White House (actually yellow) stands in the middle of the photo atop the hill, and a new tower as part of Sail Newport sets off a little to the left.  Photo by Captain Bill Podzon.  Sailing Hither and Thither.
